Wreaths, Crowns and Headresses

 Having found myself at the Ashmolean Museum today visiting the Heracles to Alexander the Great exhibition, I was particularly taken by the two gold wreaths on the display. They really were both breathtaking. The image below is the Myrtle Wreath of Queen Meda, from 336 BC. It inspired me to find images of other headpieces which have caught my eye.
